Armada Stream 40 2012 – 24

It’s obvious. Each of you music lovers is chasing summer. We can hear it in the sweet melodies, warm beats and soothing vocals that you’re all falling in love with. The Armada Stream 40 of this week is filled with tunes that make you long for hot summer nights at the beach or down the club. The number one of the Stream 40 though, is a different story!

Despite the Dutch league being unable to win any of the 2 UEFA European Championship games they’ve played so far, the supporters still rock to the sounds of Armin van Buuren. His track ‘We Are Here To Make Some Noise’ is the official theme to Radio 538’s EC campaign, and moves you with a pumping beat, house stabs and a huge outburst of energy. A number one place, well deserved!

Orjan Nilsen, who celebrated his 30th birthday this week, has even more reason to cheer. His latest floor killer, ‘Endymion’ takes in position 2 in the Top 5! Markus Schulz’ brand new and still unreleased collab with the beautiful singer Adina Butar, ‘Caught’, takes a close lead, at number 3. Besides the stadiums, there’s also other places of battlefields. How about love? Simone Anes regenerated one of the biggest classics of the pop era and gave it a proper house-stir, with her ‘Love Is A Battlefield’ at number 4. Closing the Top 5, is the ever stunning Shogun remix of Emma Hewitt’s ‘Miss You Paradise’.

The highest climber of this week, is the feel-good tune of Audien and Ruby Prophet, ‘These Are The Days’, climbing from 24 to 16! New entries include the tunes of Mischa Daniels ft U-Jean, Chicane & Vigri, John O’Callaghan’s Puzzle Piece mash-up and Paul Oakenfold’s ‘Surrender’, in the Protoculte remix. Quality stuff, all there in the Armada Stream 40!
